KAMALI
KAMALI is a Nigerian native who migrated to Riverdale, Georgia. His goal is to change lives while bringing originality and creativity through his lyrics, vocal ability and stage performance. He is a singer, rapper, song writer, arranger, and performer. He has other accomplishments as well. He is also a senior in Finance and General Business major with a concentration in Supply Chain Management at Clayton State University. You need that back up plan, no matter what. The music industry is very picky to who makes it and who doesn’t. His natural born talent to sing is evident in his music. He is very versatile in his technique, depending on the nature of the song and what is required. He has already passed that test on who makes it or not. He surely made it!
It’s a combination of many ingredients that make Kamali so successful. It’s style, texture, drama, vocals, usage of electronic instruments. He also is not afraid to try something new that will make his music stand out from others.
One of his singles, “Gone”, is off of his new album, “Nigerican”. The mission is upward mobility. The significance of this single is about getting out of a bad situation and looking forward to what lies ahead. This album highlights Kamali’s voice and his abilities as a song writer. “Swing By” is his lead single because of its’ inspirational message and uplifting energy. It’s in Kamali’s style to add such flavor to his music. Using great harmonies, great lyrics, that special hook – all together creates Kamali’s signature sound.
The digital version of this CD has already been released. Physical release has yet to be announced.
